Introduction
Colorado Professional Medical, Inc. is a service-oriented business, specializing in orthotics, prosthetics and the rental and sale of orthopedic rehabilitation equipment, including CPM devices, dynamic splints, soft goods, cold therapy products and intermittent pneumatic compression pumps and related garments/stockings. Lora Quirk formed the company in 1992 after working for several national companies and completing the long term certificate program in Orthotics at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital in Downey, California. Our standards are evident by our company successfully achieving JCAHO Accreditation for three consecutive terms. We are proud of our last JCAHO score of 97% and our excellent reputation in the community as well as our recent ABC survey. Correspondingly we hire only certified orthotists and prosthetists.

Presently, Colorado Professional Medical has four offices throughout the front range of Colorado and employs 25 of the best individuals the labor market has to offer! We have locations in Denver, Golden and in Colorado Springs. Our business is extremely mobile and we service all Front Range hospitals, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, and may choose to see a patient in their own home.

As a courtesy, Colorado Professional Medical provides follow-up telephone calls to all clients using CPM devices, dynamic splints and compression pumps. We encourage any healthcare professional associated with our clients to request this documentation. All patients serviced through Colorado Professional Medical are asked to complete a survey card so that we can monitor our Quality Program. This program assures that we are truly providing exceptional service to our patients and is what drives quality improvement changes throughout the company.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to empower our patients to achieve their maximum functional independence by providing appropriate state-of-the-art medical devices and orthotics/prosthetics by expertly trained clinicians throughout Colorado.

Our superior service will include appropriate selection of medical devices and orthotic/prosthetic components for our patients, directed by our referring physicians. We will provide corresponding patient and employee training and follow-up programs to assure complete customer satisfaction.

New Denver Office

Come see our new Denver Office!

In mid February of 2006 Colorado Professional Medical moved its office on Fillmore Street to 950 E. Harvard Avenue. We are excited to have such a central location to service our Denver patients. Our new office is adjacent to Porter Adventist Hospital, just south of Evans and west of Downing. We are fortunate to have Stephanie Porter, CPO oversee this satellite location, as well as Sheila Silvaggio, Patient Care Representative.

Our newly remodeled 1000 square feet of office space incorporates two patient fitting rooms (one equipped with parallel bars to be able to assess gait), a reception area, a front office and a small laboratory for cast modification and repairs/adjustments. Our O and P and continuous passive motion services are a great compliment to the services provided by the multi-specialty offices throughout the complex.

Corporate Office

Our main corporate office is located in Golden, Colorado .

The Golden location is a full service office that is over 5,000 sq feet and is on one level for easy access for those with disability needs. Our office hours are from 8:00 am - 5:30 pm . We have five different departments which include: Billing, Customer Service, Patient care, Full Service Fabrication Lab and two separate warehouses to keep our inventory.

The billing department works very hard to expedite medical claims for a quicker reimbursement. Customer service does insurance verification/authorization. Our patient care team takes care of our patient needs from the evaluation, fitting and any follow up calls. Our fabrication lab makes 99% of our custom products in house. We have two certified technicians working in the lab to assist with fabrication and fitting. There are three patient care rooms, one of them is specifically designed for our prosthetic patients in mind.
